Time4Learning

I am going to try the Time4Learning program for 30 days. I will let you know how it works for my children. It looks like it will be both fun and educational for them. If you would like to try here is there link. Come back and comment on how it works for you and your family.

* I've been invited to try Time4Learning for a month in exchange for a candid review. Their online program can be used for homeschool, as an after school tutorial and for summer learning. My opinion will be my own, so come back and read about my experience. You can write your own curriculum review, too!

  2. Hi,

I really enjoyed your blog posts. It was certainly entertaining and very educational.

I would like to see whether you'd be open for guest contributions. I am looking to write something related to your site and thought that the topics I had in mind may go well with your blog.

I was thinking about the following subjects:

    1. 5 Tips for Teaching Kids to Read
    2. Summer Activity: Learning A New Sport with Kids

What do you think about these? If you're interested to receive a custom article which is also absolutely free, I am happy to get something written up and sent over to you - or if you have another topic you'd like to see covered, I am more than happy to write on that.

Thanks and I look forward to your response.

Works For Me Wednesday How to Save Money on Books

I love to read books but our budget doesn't allow me to spend much money on that hobby so I have devised a way to read great books at no cost.

When I see a book that I find interesting on someone's blog or Facebook post that directs me to Amazon I put that book into my wishlist on Amazon. I can put them on hold and I get an email from my library when they are available. This little trick has saved me so much money over the years. I have been able to read some wonderful books that otherwise I could not afford.

The Dough

Put in bread machine in this order or by what your machines manufacture recommends:

7/8 cup warm water
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoon active yeast

Set on dough setting (my machine has a pizza dough setting I use that) Start machine my pizza dough cycle lasts 50 mins

While that runs in the machine I make put together the ingredients for the sauce, here is the recipe that I use for that.

The Sauce

Mix in a medium bowl the following ingredients:

1 15oz can tomato sauce
1 6oz can tomato paste
1 tablespoon ground oregano
1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

When the dough cycle is finished I spread dough out on slightly greased with olive o…
